The spiritual life has order. Change happens in sequence. Some capacities have to form before others can work. If we can observe that order, we can understand it.

These questions help you look backward. They do not prove which layer is the problem.
The fruit shows that something is wrong. The sequence gives you somewhere specific to look.
System health
Peter warns that missing these qualities can leave a person nearsighted, blind, and forgetful. Fear can leave only the threat in view. Anger can leave only the offense. Desire can leave only the reward. Rejection can leave only the loss.
